Every year hundreds of people seek medical care for heat related illnesses. While those numbers are usually made up by seniors who live alone, there’s plenty that can happen without you actually checking yourself into a hospital. Dehydration symptoms include headaches, dizziness, nausea, and being tired. Does any of that sound like a way you want to spend a vacation? Heck no! So today we’re going to teach you some ways to stay hydrated during these oh so hot Florida summers! To help us out we’re going to invite on our new friend Brady Holmer from the University of Florida College of Health to teach us about the history of Gatorade!
What was the original flavor of Gatorade? Is guacamole better for hydration than a banana? How do you pronounce Kinesiology? We answer all these questions and more on today's episode.
Check out our instagram at for some reviews of the places we virtually visit in tonight's episode!
